Transport Company Manager

Qualifications required:

  • Diploma in Business; or
  • Minimum 3 years Industry Experience

Duties and responsibilities:

Supervise and be responsible for all operations of the business in the distribution area including

  • organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel
  • liaising with Management to determine requirements and providing advice and information regarding vehicle type, purchase or hire rates and obligations and handling complaints
  • receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules
  • ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality, adhering to the Company regulations under the HACCP System
  • arranging collection and delivery of vehicles and goods
  • maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports as well as maintaining sanitation logs
  • coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of product items
  • ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • co-ordinate induction training

Management Accountant

The successful candidate will be working with the Financial Controller and Accounts Team to meet requirements as set out by our Senior Management, Bankers, and External Accountants for the Group.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare production cost statements for the Group and review any discrepancies with senior management
  • Assisting with bank and internal audits
  • Compiling of financial reports and documents
  • Reviewing business operating costs and reporting to management in relation to income and expenditure
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and assurance as to the accuracy of information provided in reports
  • Maintain accounting systems and assisting with maintaining of Internal control systems
  • Assist with management of cash flow facilities
  • Perform regular cost accounting work for the Group and report accordingly
  • Set up cost effective data accumulation systems in order to provide appropriate costing information to senior management
  • Liaising with interstate operations regarding stock and other matters
  • Assisting with audits in the interstate operations
  • Assisting with payroll processing for the Group

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 3 Years accounting experience
  • Experience working with a large number of companies within a group
  • Good communication skills are a must!
  • Ability to work independently

Cooks Required

Qualifications required:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • 2 Years on the job experience

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting Chefs and management
  • Preparing product
  • Cooking chicken and other meat products
  • Maintain clean kitchen environment
  • Ordering stock
  • Checking stocks
  • Maintaining utensils, machines and equipment properly
  • Examining food to ensure quality
  • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
  • Seasoning product during cooking
  • Portioning food, adding sauces and marinates
  • Storing product in temperature controlled facilities
  • Planning and estimate food requirements
  • Preparing product to meet special dietary requirements
  • Training other kitchen staff and apprentices

Small Goods Makers Required NSW, VIC, QLD

(Also required for our regional operations, WA, Nth Qld (Tville) and SA)

Qualifications required:

  • At least two years on the job experience & AQF Certificate 3
  • Good English Communication skills and Good work Ethic

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare Meat by deboning, trimming fat and ensuring satisfactory quality
  • Prepare meat for Mincing as required
  • Cut meat and fat as specified in recipes
  • Grind meat and fat as specified in recipes
  • Prepare seasonings by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients as per recipes required
  • Operate mincing machines, tumblers, cooking kettles as required
  • Assist the Operations Manager to help designing the menus and recipes, if required
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality HACCP System
